When we decided to have a break & go on a road-trip to Bahrain, my husband asked me to check Booking.com & take a look at Bahrain’s hotels. Majestic Rotana caught my eyes, 2 story suite for only KD 55/- & it’s a 5 start hotel. The space was very important to me because I wanted Baby Jana to enjoy her time. We booked it & wrote a remark through Booking.com that we’ll be arriving early by car. After 1 day, my husband received a call from the hotel asking him when are we going to arrive & he informed them it will be around 10 to 11 am.
When we arrived, our room was ready, we didn’t have to wait til 2pm as many hotels do. The hallways’ smell was really beautiful & relaxing. Our suite was in the 3rd floor, the room was really BIG, didn’t expect it to be like that, the kitchen was also huge & very well-equipped. the living room had a welcoming oranges plate, the bedroom was also spacious & the bathroom was beautiful.
The service of the hotel was great & efficient. The staff were very helpful & nice specially a young girl called Fatima. Everybody wanted to help us in any ways possible.
The hotel opened its doors on the 13th of March 2013, we knew that when we checked out because everything was so new & beautiful so we thought of asking them.
If you’re a family & want a good hotel with a good location & space, then Majestic Rotana is your perfect choice.
Thank You Majestic Rotana for making our stay one of the best & will be remembered forever.
I just came back home from Bahrain. We spent 3 days there just to break the routine & have a change of atmosphere. It took us exactly 4:30 hrs to reach Bahrain passing through Saudi Arabia ofcourse & having a break to eat breakfast because we left home around 4:50 am so we needed a lil bit of energy 🙂
Saudis & Bahrainis were really nice, they didn’t make us wait at all, they made the trip very smooth.
We stayed in Majestic Rotana Hotel which has recently opened (will review it soon) & visited many cafes & restaurant which i’ll review soon nshallah.
This time, Baby Jana joined us in our trip, she was really nice & easy to handle but I won’t do it again. I won’t take her with me in any trip until she’s old enough to manage herself because I got tired taking care of her in this trip.
Bahraini people were very nice, kind & sweet. Loved the way they talk, so cute 😛 This was my 1st trip to Bahrain but won’t be the last 😉
It’s been years since I’ve last visited Khiran Resort … I remember it used to be the IT place for people to gather & enjoy their time. It used to be crowded, lots of activities & places to have fun … to my surprise, it’s not the same anymore, the place has been neglected. It was very green like 20 yrs ago but not now, games & buildings are very old and torn out! The chalet are still good, beaches are clean and beautiful but it’s not like before. I hope they will start taking care of it or it might close down soon.
We booked a deluxe chalet for the weekend through Mishref Co-op. They were very professional & the team kept in contact with us all the time. When we entered the chalet, we found a huge box filled with yummy goodies along with a fruit basket 🙂 The next day, Mishref Co-op team brought us 1 dozen of Krispy Kream donuts yummmmy, and later on in the evening they started giving gifts to every chalet 😀 we won a blender lol
It was really fun, we broke the routine a bit, Juju had a blast, she loved the sand 😛

Ever since I got my PADI Scuba Diving License & I’m tempted to travel to exotic islands, dive into the blue & discover what’s down there! My first dive was in Tioman Island & it was marvelous! The world down there is magnificent! i really can’t describe it, you have to try it so you can understand what I’m saying 😉
Anyways, my next diving destination will be nshallah Bali. I’m fascinated by this island, so beautiful & heaven-like! The beaches, the blue, the temples, the resorts, the rice farms etc! So many things to do there! I’ve already planned my trip but not this year! Unfortunately, this year there will be no traveling 😦 due to personal matters (I might reveal them later on 😛 ) but nshallah If god wills then the beginning of next year I’m gonna be there 😀
Diving is such a unique experience that makes you wanna explore more & more. Once you’re down there, you don’t wanna stop, you don’t wanna even get out of the water! In Tioman I went diving for 5 days & that wasn’t enough! from 9am until 4pm, wasn’t enough at all! The scenery of the beaches makes you just wanna sit there & breath fresh air even if you’re not diving into the blue!
My main concern ofcourse are the SHARKS! I have to pick a place where there is reef & no sharks! I remember my instructor telling me not to get scared or do anything if I encounter a shark! Huh? I doubt I’ll be able to control myself! Therefore, pick a place where I won’t see one of those awful creatures!
2013 … come to me 😀
I wanna take a pic with this huge fish 😛
I love the reef 😀
Don’t ask me what the hell is that but i’d like to meet it 😉
Oh HELLO There! You go away :S
Relax in one of their resorts that has a villa witha private pool *sigh*
(Mahagiri Villas Sanur)
Bulgari Resort … way to expensive but the location is to die for 😀
We chose FlyDubai for this short trip. The plane is very small but kinda ok for short trips I guess! The staff were very friendly & helpful on the plane. The price is reasonable, the total of both of us was KD 95. The service is almost like Aljazeera. But we had a problem with them regarding weight issues. You see, we only carried handbags! My husband’s handbags weighed KG 11 & mine KG 7 when we were going to Dubai & they didn’t say a word. But when we were coming back, mine weighed KG 11 & his KG 13 & they wouldn’t let it pass. Ya3ni it would made a difference? will the plane fall for some extra couple of kilos?. We explained to them that their staff in Kuwait let us pass & now you’re making a scene? They said our staff in Kuwait let people staff but here in Dubai we follow the rules. Mashallah! In Dubai the follow the rules but in Kuwait & i guess other airports they don’t. What a trained staff they have? Their management should train their staff equally.
Terminal 2 is smaller than Terminal 3 but very quiet & almost empty. I liked it coz it wasn;t crowded at all & we finished very fast! They just need to add some stores & restaurants & it will be just perfect.

Hello boys & girls, I’m back home & I’ve really missed you guys and missed my blog alot! Will be posting more & more nshallah and I’ll never ever stop blogging no matter what 😀
The honeymoon was really lovely, we enjoyed our time alot in Malaysia, though it’s my 2nd time there, i went to new places which were really awesome & much better than the first time there 😀
The most amazing time we’ve spent was in Tioman Island, which is a not very large island & no Arabs are there (thank god)! the weather, the landscape, the people was just mind blowing, i really didn’t want to leave the place. we spent 5 days there & it felt it wasn’t enough.
we;’ve done alot of activities which i’ll post about it later on nshallah but for now i’ll leave you with some pictures of the resort we stayed in & pix of the island 😀
Finally, I’ve made it t this hotel! I’ve been hearing & reading about it alot! It’s an amazing hotel! The location, the view, the decoration etc are just fabulous! It’s situated in the middle of the race track where you can watch car racing from your room’s balcony 🙂 Such an amazing hotel! You have to try it if u’re planning a visit to AbuDhabi 😀
Thanx to my colleague Rami who told me about this theme park! we went to it the very next day and we had lots of fun, even dad enjoyed it alot 😀 we felt like lil kids playing some rides, going inside some attractions, watching how some movies were made and watching a special 3D movie of Shrek which we enjoyed ALOT, the best 3D ever 😀 I didn’t wana go out, felt like crying like a little child!
Im back home after one hell of a journey filled with lots of scary turbulence . . . 11hrs flight! I can barely open my eyes now but I can’t sleep so i thought of writing a post about food for Ambrosial\’s sake how about that?! *yawn*
Marina Bay Sands is one of the amazing places I’ve been to in Singapore, loved the whole place! the mall is just huge and comfy! Moi et Papa spotted this beautiful cafe and had some tea n sweet while we rested our feet from shopping 🙂
At first i thought this cafe belonged to Twinings Tea but after googling it, it turned out to be something else! Read about it here for more information!
Anyways, so everything on the menu in this cafe has tea in it! you name it, ice cream, sweet, chocolate, coffee . . . like literary everything has tea in it! I asked for espresso one time & the waiter almost killed me with his look, kinda made me feel stupid but he then joked around saying “it’s a tea salon, everything has tea in it . . . how about you try our coffee tea?”! i didn’t know what did that mean but i told him ok! Guess what? it looked like normal tea but it smelled n tasted like coffee . . . I loved it & loved my sweet mango crumble with tea smth 🙂
My Mango Crumble Sweet with some kind of tea 🙂
My Coffee Tea 🙂
I see lots of teassss . . . we got some for the house!
When I got back to the hotel yesterday, I found a red card laying on my bed! It was a chinese new year tradition where the married relatives & friends give the UNMARRIED money to wish them good luck in life! Now is this a coincidence or what exactly? Note it was on my bed, not Nour’s, not father’s but MINE!
Anyways, I kept it for memories & oh well, good luck too 😀
It’s been 4 days now and Im already broke this country is made for shopping! specially the area we live in! dear lord, evey 2 steps there’s a huge mall waiting to be invaded by my and my sister! poor father, he’s walking, walking & walking non-stop! sometimes he pleads to sit down and have a rest! when we get back home, we can’t feel our legs!
At the last moment, i decided not to take my laptop with me coz i wanted a rest from the internet world but i guess i couldn’t keep away from it 🙂 so im at the business centre right now in Meritus Mandarin Orchard hotel writing this post 😀 too bad i dont have my Canon usb wire with me to upload some pix for ya! Im gonna upload from the Sony!
The country is somehow Chinesish, you barely see any native citizens! No halal food is available all the time! it’s very rare in here but their coffee is the yummiest thing ever! The taste is very rare and unique, i love it and im drinking it all the time 😀 The rain doesn’t stop AT ALL! Singapore is taking shower all the time and it’s not bothering us 😀
