I believe by now every body has heard or experienced this yummy place which I’ve visited more than once.
Husband recommended it after having the Pistachio Trio Crepe and he said it was really delicious. So I took Juju on New Year morning and ordered the Pistachio Choco crepe along with their Turkish Coffee in the chocolate cup.
I loved the Pistachio Choco Crepe, it was really delicious and yummy. I’ve also tried the Pistachio Trio and the Pistachio Strawberry Crepe. Last week, I’ve also tried the Kinder Molten cake which was delicious but really heavy.
Their dishes are really good. Their service gets slower when it’s crowded but it’s worth the wait.
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to dine at Zwarah restaurant located in Souk area in The Avenues. I’ve tried eating in it several times but every time we go, it’s full house.
We chose Friday afternoon and I took my daddy with me this time because he’s a traditional man and enjoys Kuwaiti food. I thought he’s going to enjoy this and he did. He’s still talking about the place.
We chose to be seated outdoors because it’s brighter and better for photography, not to mention Juju wanted to go to the fountain every now and then so I was able to keep an eye on her.
We started with Fatoush Salad and the main dishes started coming after a while. We ordered Maraq Bamya (Okra Stew) which comes with plain white rice, Murabyan (Shrimps with rice), Saffron rice & one hell of a Subaiti Fish. The fish came really big and the stuffing was beyond delicious. We all loved it and Dad enjoyed to the max. The Murabyan was really good and the Bamya Maraq was also great. We also ordered Chicken Laban Suwaykhat (grilled) which was beyond delicious. A must try.
For desserts we ordered the Dates Baqlawa (amazing) and the Date Caramel Cake with Ice cream, accompanies with Arabic Coffee.
They have the best sugar cookies in town 🙂
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to try the new seasonal menu for breakfast at The Gathering Bistro. Whether I’m invited or not, I’ve tried their food and breakfast several times and it’s always delicious and amazing. One thing remains the same, their service gets a bit slow when the place is crowded.
Now let’s talk about their new breakfast menu which will be there for a period of time. We were introduced to 5 dishes, 3 were egg dishes and 2 were pancakes. We loved them all, but the winners were the Dhal Egg dish (Indian Style with Chapati) and I loved the Quinoa Egg dish also. The pancakes were both amazing. My favourite was the Cinnamon one, ahmazing yum yum. The pistachio was also good.
Go and try their seasonal breakfast menu before they remove it. It’s worth the try.
The beginning of 2016 is really delicious. I’ve received the New Year cake from Lenotre which was a chocolate cake filled with chocolate creme, really delicious and moist. But somehow heavy. You think it might look small but it can feed up to 10 persons.
Thank you Lenotre

I was invited a couple of months ago to try the newly opened restaurant Burger & Lobster which is a franchise from the UK if i’m not mistaken.
The location of the place in Grand Avenues is really nice and it has a lot of tables to accommodate many hungry people when the place is crowded.
They only have 3 kinds of dishes and you choose from them. We chose the lobster and lobster roll dishes. It comes with a salad and fries.
The whole lobster was really really delicious, the way it was cooked, just perfect and the sauce that it came with it, superb. As fro the lobster roll, i loved it but my husband didn’t because it came cold, it’s supposed to be a cold sandwich which he doesn’t like but i do 😀 Everything was good.
Go and try it. They also have burger which I’ve heard is really good.

One of the places that I really wanted to try in my short stay in Mumbai was The Bombay Canteen restaurant. The place isn’t easy to find, taxi drivers might get lost, so get your map on your phone ready to show them the way. And even when you reach the place, taxis aren’t allowed to enter, so you have to do a little bit of walking which we didn’t mind at all.
From the outside the place looks small, but from the inside it’s really wide and it has many tables for busy days/nights. We went there between 3pm and 6pm where they serve light menu. Lunch is between 12 and 3pm and dinner is after 6pm. I was kind of disappointed because I wanted to try their famous dishes but we ended trying delicious dishes.
We ordered the Banghali Pav and the Beef Wrap, along with Seafood Salad. All dishes turned out t be amazing, especially the Seafood Salad.
The service was amazing, really great waiters and very friendly. They’d explain to you every dish because they know you’re a tourist and want to know more.
A must try when in Mumbai.
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I decided to try the black branch of Burger Boutique which has recently opened in Murouj Sahara. I know the place gets crowded even before opening its doors so we went there around 12:30pm and people were already sitting outdoors waiting for the place to open its doors at 1pm sharp.
In my opinion, I think they should open at 11am because some people like to have an early lunch or just appetisers but maybe it’s because they’ve just opened.
This time we tried Goat Cheese Salad, Shrimp Inferno, 2015 Burger and the classic burger.
The Shrimp Inferno was beyond amazing, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If i’m not mistaken it’s their bestseller. My burger was good and my husband loved his, the goat cheese was really delicious.
The whole branch was amazing. Next time, i’ll be trying one of their black specials.
I’ve tried Rockhouse Sliders through Talabat.com and their sliders were really delicious. Now, imagine having burgers anytime of the day 😀
Their newly opened 247 branch in Dasman offers that. Whenerever you want to have sliders just drive your car to their place 😉
I loved it, it’s decent and the menu is quiet seductive. My favourite is the chicken slider and they have this side Potato Balls filled with cheese, solo yummy.
You have to try their place asap.
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to try out Oishii Restaurant which has been among the best places to dine in, in Kuwait.
We arrived there around 3pm. The place is quite small, doesn’t have that much tables inside but now the weather is getting really nice, you can have either dinner or lunch outdoors, but we preferred to stay inside and have desserts outdoors later.
Everything tasted really really delicious and yummy, except for the lobster it was okay, but loved everything else.
I’d go again and order the same dishes 🙂
Last week, we were invited to a bloggers gathering at the newly opened branch of Karak Gholam in Murouj Sahara. I love that place and the weather is getting really beautiful and makes it cool to hang out with friends and family outdoors, so the gathering seemed a good idea to have fun and eat delicious food.
Our dear blogger friend Ansame gathered us all over a table full of great lady bloggers who were passionate about blogging and still are. Not as the likes we are witnessing these days.
Back to our gathering. Our table was outdoors and we started our gathering with a cup of hot Karak (Tea with Milk). Then mini paper plates started coming filled with yummy Indian street food.
Bakoura and Samosa as starters, then Eggplant Hamsa and Shrimp Hamsa came along with Chapatis. Everything was delicious and yummy. Loved the presentation and how we ate with our hands.
You have to try the place, they have really good dishes.
A month ago, I’ve received a lovely box from @Spreadsco (instagram) that contained 6 flavours of cocoa spreads made from premium cocoa all the way from Luxemburg.
I couldn’t not try some of the flavours right away, and my favourite were the coconut, caramel and hazelnut nougat. Oh my god, so damn delicious, especially when eaten with fruits 😀
They are available now in Saveco.
