Every year, we celebrate garish (pre Ramadan feast) at my grandparent’s house, with our family members and friends. The gathering begins around 7pm and continues tip midnight getting in the mood for Ramadan timing. My aunt takes care of the decorations and activities, my grandma takes care of the food, she has a great cook, and we other family members bring desserts with us.
We wear darra’a because it’s Ramadan theme and we get to talk and chit chat with everybody we haven’t seen for a while. We also play some Ramadan Kuwaiti songs and dance a bit, my beautiful Juju loved the whole atmosphere, she didn’t stop dancing. We had lots of fun 😀
The food was amazing, my grandma’s cook did an amazing job, we also brought a lady that does Rgag bread in front of our eyes with a variety of stuffing. DELICIOUS.
Juju and I matched clothes 😀
Lots of funny gifts for our guest 😀
