C-Omar New Menu

1

Last week, I had the opportunity to try the new menu of The Egyptian restaurant C-Omar located in The Avenues-Souk Area. I tried their food before, amazing and delicious but their service is very slow and it was still slow when I went their last week. I hope they’ll try to fix this problem asap.

We were introduced to the new menu and we had a variety of dishes to choose from. We went there for lunch around 6pm so you can imagine how hungry we were specially after a very long day at work. All the dishes we chose were perfect except for 1 dish, which I’ll be talking about them down below.

The quality, quantity and prices of food are very good, I love the place and even though their service is slow, the deliciousness of their food will bring me back to them.

Taamiya

Verdict: A MUST. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

5

Halloumi with Debs Alrouman

Verdict: wasn’t that good and it didn’t look like the picture on the menu.

6

Chicken Liver

Verdict: Delicious and very yummy. That sourness was really good. Loved the dish

7

Messa’aa with Béchamel Sauce

Verdict: It was good, but it didn’t feel like we were eating messa’a at all. Try it, it’s not bad at all.

8

Muloukhia with Chicken

Verdict: Amazing, loved this dish because it’s not like the regular mulukhia you eat at home. There was a hint of cinnamon in it and it gave it a signature taste. Loved it.

Classic Kushary

Verdict: Not your ordinary Kushary, also this dish had something in it that made it different than the ordinary kushary. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
