Hooked to Arrow

It’s been a while since I’ve got hooked to a tv show. I’m watching a lot lately but non of them get me that hooked except for Arrow which I started watching it last week, and finished season 1 in no time, moved on to season 2 and now I’m waiting for it to come back after the holidays break. I’m so eager to find out what will happen next after we witness the birth of The Flash and Deathstroke as the next villain who wants to destroy The Arrow. If you’re in to DC Comics characters you’ll know what I’m talking about.

So let’s talk about the TV Show. It’s amazing, perfect in so many ways, the plot, the story line, the scenario, the actors, the directing and even the soundtrack is marvellous (purchased it from iTunes). It got me thinking when was the last time I got hooked to a TV show. I remember being so attached to Dark Angel, LOST and HEROES. And now Arrow.

The actors; The main actor Stephen Amell was the perfect choice for this kind of role. The emotions are so obvious on his face, he’s such in great control of his facial expressions. You can know when he’s angry, broken, or damaged. The way he talks to Laurel or Felicity with that soft tone and the way he addresses the bad guys is really amazing. He can switch easily and perfectly. He’s my new hero ๐Ÿ™‚

David Ramsey as John; The perfect companion/assistant to The Arrow. Both of them went into hell, so he’s the kind of guy The Arrow needs. He can understand him and know what should be done. The actor is also perfect for this role, can’t imagine anyone better than him.

Katie Cassidy as Laurel: mmmmm I’m skeptical about her, she was ok in season 1 but in season 2 I felt there was something wrong with her. The way she lost a lot of weight and her acting isn’t that perfect. She’s not the kind of girl that The Arrow should be with and i’m hoping she won’t be.

Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance. I love him and love how he started accepting The Arrow after hating him for a period of time and wanting to catch him. Now, he’s actually working with him. It gives you this adrenaline rich to see a cop working with a superhero. He’s a great actor and he’s in control of his character.

Emily Bett as Felicity: I love her, she’s so witty, beautiful and charming but in a nerdish way. Love her humour and how she looks at Oliver. But there’s one thing that I didn’t like about her acting. She can’t act sad emotions that good, I mean she didn’t convince me with her awful cry and facial expression. She has to do much better than that but to me she’s the perfect girl for Oliver.

Willa Holland as Thea: I can’t stand her, the actress is so fake.

Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen: I was really shocked by her acting skills, she can convince you that what you’re watching is so real. Love everything about her, how she can be really cold and loving at the same time.

John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn: My kind of a charming villain. How many villains can be so dazzling? Not many (Except for Luki). Make them 2, Malcom Merlyn and Luki are my charming villains ๐Ÿ˜› He’s a great actor, handsome and bad, really bad.
