@OliverSanRest Experience-Soft Opening

As usual, Maki Group introduces a new contemporary restaurant that has the Asian essence called OliverSan located in Burj Jassim. The soft opening was limited to certain dishes that were really delicious. The interior of the place has the symbol of hat which speaks contemporary and Asian patterns to give it that look.

The food was very good, the service was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

OliverSan will open in Ramadan from Futoor til 1am and after Ramadan they will start serving lunch and dinner.

Let’s take a look at the dishes;

Complimentary starters

Oliversan Tangerine Seafood Soup

Verdict: The taste is new and unique, the portion is really good, you won’t feel full at all and it’s Highly Recommended. The presentation was really cool as you can see in the picture above.

Rice Noodle Salad with Crispy Spring Rolls

Verdict: The combination and mixture is also new and unique. DELICIOUS. Once you start eating this salad, you will not want it to finish as it’s very tasty and light.

Black Tiger Shrimp on Wheat Toast

Verdict: The taste and creation of this dish is not new but the taste was good.

Oliversan Giant Prawn

Verdict: my FAVORITE dish of the night. The presentation was really nice, the shrimp was really HUGE and the taste was so magnificent. The sauce made the dish unique. HIGH RECOMMENDED.

Oliversan Peking Duck

Verdict: Wasn’t expecting this dish to be that huge, good for sharing. It comes with 2 sauce, onion and cucumber and mini bread. You create your own mini wrap. The duck was cooked in a very good way, not many restaurants know how to cook duck. Loved the black sauce. A MUST TRY.

That’s how you eat it 😀

Braised Chicken with Thai Basil

Verdict: Really good and the taste and aroma of the Basil were very strong.

Spicy Shrimp Broccoli

Verdict: Was expecting this dish to be really spicy but it wasn’t. The amount of spices was really good and it was yummy and delicious. One of the dishes that you must try when you visit the place.

Oliversan Ultimate Classic Chow Mein

Verdict: The dish is classic and regular but the taste was super good and light. Loved the mixture of sauces.

Chocolate Crunchy Mousse

Verdict: I wasn’t going to order this dish but the manager recommended it and said it’s really good. I was skeptical but I was totally wrong. Not the regular chocolate mousse you eat in every restaurant. The taste is totally different, unique and delicious. A must end to your meal.
