Movie Review: Wrath of The Titans

Oh how I love to watch a movie about Greek Mythology. it reminds me of the good old days back in Uni! But the thing is, this movie talked more about stuff we couldn’t or we didn’t get the chance to study (I’m gonna read books about it).

It’s about Perseus son of Zeus who teams up with Agenor son of Poseidon & Andromeda to free his father Zeus who was captured by his other son Ares & his brother Hades to drain him from his power to help Cronus (The Evil God) get up & destroy the world. Later on Hades teams up with his brother to Kill Ares & Cronus.

The story; well written, acted & directed! They couldn’t have gotten better stars than Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson & Ralph Fiennes (I love this trio). Both were so convincing that I lived each character!

What I didn’t like is the 3D format. I’d have enjoyed the movie better if it was on regular one as 2D. There were alot of movements & fightings which made my head go dizzy & my eyes couldn’t capture some of the fighting scenes. I admit, yes some scenes were just beautiful like Getting inside Tartarus, that was a fun thing to watch on 3D but other than that it was annoying!

Watch it 2D not 3D

Watching the movie reminds me of my greek lit class. 😀 I love the part when they went to Tartarus to help Zeus. I admit many were a little irritated when I speculate coming scenes. (good that all speculated scenes turned out the way I thought it would be) 😀

    • Me 2, it reminded me of my Greek Lit class (Unfortunately I only took one) & I didn’t see those scenes coming because I didn’t get the chance to study that story but it was awesome 🙂

The Wrath of the Titans is to my knowledge the fabricated sequel of the Clash of the Titans. Correct me if I’m wrong.

      • Are you referring to the books or to the 1st sequel?

  2. I really want to see it do u think it’s worth it?

  3. Khalas will be looking forward to heading over there and checking it out bs I think I might download it instead of watching in cinema 😛
