Bloggers’ Event: Starbucks Card Launch

We were invited to attend the launch of Starbucks Card in Kuwait at Starbucks Salmiya next to H&M. The team of Starbucks explained to us the use of this card, we can top it up to whatever limit we want & it’s valid for 12 months from the last top up. Also you get 1hr free wifi when you purchase anything using this card. The cashier will give you a voucher that includes the password & username to log in. You can also give this Starbucks card as a gift to Coffeeholic since it has an amazing leather box 🙂

Now the benefit of this card is good, you can use it without worrying about money or anything, but limiting the time for 1hr, i kinda don’t agree with that. Hope they’ll change their mind. Also other benefits will follow in the near future.

The Starbucks team were very sweet & kind answering all bloggers’ questions & showing them around the place explaining few things about coffee *sigh*

Thank You Rawan & Starbucks team for a lovely cozy event!

P.S. I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but i forgot my D550 😦

  1. Very nice of them to do this for bloggers. But it’s the same concept as the Alshaya Card which has been available for months. The only difference is it’s limited to use at Starbucks whereas the Alshaya Card could be used for everything Alshaya — including Starbucks. Same terms and conditions; recharge anytime, any amount, valid for 12 months from date of recharge, etc. However, adding the 1 hour free internet is a nice touch. Looks like you had a nice time!

    • yup it has the same concept of Alshaya but this one as u said can only be used at Starbucks stores in Kuwait! other benefits will follow soon as they’ve mentioned!
