1st Part of My Story Published

Woooohoooooo . . . aywaaaaaaa . . . chak chak chak

I’m soooo sooooo sooooooo happy Even though it’s not that of a big deal but to me, IT IS Never thought I’d be writing a short story & getting it published in of the most published magazines in Kuwait (Adam&Eve) now changed to (Sarab). Oh yeah & getting paid for it ba3ad

Remember my post about marriage (Living With A Male Room Mate)? I gotta thank Nunu for her encouragement & push to write this story & I gotta thank Dr. Dima Danawi for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to write in this amazing magazine.

My post on my blog wasn’t arranged and so many situations were mentioned in one post, but for the magazine, i had to change the way of writing, narrating style & write things from the start, from the very first beginning in details.

The story is in progress now, i have finished 5 parts & will continue writing it til i reach a point where i will know this is the end (God knows when)

Back To Writing

Have I mentioned before that I love writing? Yes, I do love writing alot, I’m not creative or anything but I’m a person who has lots of ideas, thoughts & feelings going on inside my mind and heart! Sometimes they’re too much to handle, so i try to write them down, either on the form of story or diary! Both will do just fine in easing my mind! It started back in 1998 when I discovered I’m a dreamy girl full of imagination n things that dont exist in this world!

in 1998 I wrote a story inspired by the world cup, huh can you imagine and in 2000 i wrote a story inspired by a movie which I dont remember what it was! and in 2001 i wrote a story but i didnt finish it, got distracted by uni and studies! and now i cant finish so i will leave it as it is! and i wrote a couple of diaries that when i read now, i burst into tears from the laughter! I mean what was i thinking of LOL

Now, I’m inspired by smth/sm1, and i really wanna write it down because I dont want it to be wiped out from my memory when i grow older n older! I thought of writing it as a story but then i decided why not as a diary?! It will be fun! A story as a diary

P.S. The stories I wrote were never read or seen by anyone! except me cz smhow they’re embarrassing now let’s c how this diary/story will turn out to be

Pen Pal-ING is Amazing

I’ve been pen pal-ling now for more than 10 years! It all started back in highchool, where I used to buy those teen magazines and you see some addresses of people who share some mutual interests, you write to them and you become their pen pal

I know technology has developed where people invented emails, facebook, msn and other stuff but man writing letters and receiving them never lost its essence! I love the touch of the folded papers and the arrival of the letters, the moment you open them eager to see/read what’s in there!!!

I’ve been writing for this Dutch girl for more than 10 years now. I’m planning to go to Germany this year inshallah! so i’m really hopeful to meet her soon . . . isn’t it fun The above picture is for all the letters i got from her!

I know some people will laugh at me for keeping this thing going on even with the technology getting better and better everyday! but the writing, the sending, and the waiting for the reply is worth it! It makes it special
