@MakiRest New UpGraded Menu

It’s always fun & exciting trying new dishes & stuff at Maki, my favorite Japanese Restaurant & now became my husband’s also ;) I was invited by the lovely team of Maki to try the new upgraded menu they’ve just launched. We chose The Avenues branch & headed there around 1:30pm. The mall wasn’t crowded, love the Avenues in the afternoon.

Mr. Toufic greeted us & we were seated inside. We were introduced to the new upgraded menu. You actually check the dishes on the iPad, add them to your cart, can do some editing, & then you place your order at the end. So basically, you’ll be in charge of your own order, & the waiter will be there only to recommend some dishes or assist you if you needed some help.

It was easy placing our own order, but it needs getting used to it a lil bit. Just getting familiar with the system at first & after that, it’s a piece of cake :) I love how technology is making our life easier!

This service is only available at Maki Burj Jassem for now, but soon it will be applied in all Maki branches.

Now, let’s talk food, we had the chance to try some of the new dishes they recently added to their menu, & what’s more fun than eating delicious Japanese food?

Join me ;)

Spicy Real Crab Sushi

Ingredients: Real Crab Meat, Carrot, Cucumber, Spring Onions, Crispy Tempura with Maki Special Sweet & Spicy Sauce.

Bader Maki

Ingredients: Salmon, Crabsticks, Ikura, Cucumber, Avocado, Exotic Cress, Black Sesame with Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Pari Pari Sauce.

Beef Tenderloin Teppan

Ingredients: Beef served with Grilled Vegetables.

Verdict: Do I need to tell you about this dish? One of the oldest & Yummiest dishes at Maki.

Edamame Fried Rice

Ingredients: Jasmine Rice, Edamame, Sweet Corn, Chili Pepper, Carrot, Spinach, Dry Tomato, Shitake Mushroom, Lettuce, Onion, Garlic, & Extra Vergin Olive Oil.
