These days, I’m having the time to try new recipes & do experiments in my kitchen. Whenever I find a recipe on the internet, I usually change it a bit, to have my own personal touch
Original Recipe: Butternut Squash Gratin
This recipe is very easy to make, I just changed few things, instead of using 3 cups of butternut squash, I used 2 cups & 1 cup potato. & instead of the dried thyme, I used dried oregano & rosemary
Mix bread crumbs with cheddar cheese & butter … set aside
Sautee onion with olive oil over medium low heat & add salt, pepper, garlic, dried oregano & rosemary … spread on a pyrex/baking dish
Mix the flour with the squash, potato & add parmesan cheese with dried oregano & rosemary … add the mixture over the onion.
Add half cup of chicken broth in the pan you sauteed the onions in & let it cook for 2 minutes, add it over the squash & potato mixture & then add the cheese crumbs mix … bake for 50/60 minutes!
Time to enjoy a delicious meal
