Thank you Thank you Thank you my lovely blogger mate Alnoury for those amazing Lavender Cookies. 9ij maga9artay :)
Yesterday I saw her post a picture of Lavender Cookie Jar in Instagram & I went droooooling over them. I actually go drooling on anything that has Lavender, Red Velvet, & Coffee! Cannot resist them.
Woke up in the morning to find an email from sweet Alnoury :* telling me she’ll be sending me some :D & i got them around 6pm today.
They were delicious, I told my husband to come & taste them & he said “Whaaat? sheno taste? tasting means eating 1 piece . . . tell me; come & join me lol”
We really loved them & I dont think they’ll last till tomorrow hehe!
Yezach allah alf alf 5er 3la hal neq9a :*
After long hours of shopping in Dubai Mall, I really wanted to rest a bit & I saw this place infront of me. What’s better than a red velvet cupcake and a shot of espresso to relax while you stare at the things you’ve purchased :P
I haven’t read about this place at all, so I said why not try it out. They have a wide range of cupcakes & drinks also. I ordered Red Velvet & Espresso. It was delicious & very moist, loved it. Their seating are is not that big but they have huge sofas which are very comfy.
It’s located in Dubai Mall near H&M & above Candylicious
Not “cute” price at all :P
Last night, we wanted to go out, it was around 11pm. Which place would be open at this time? We decided to head to Salmiya (Salem Almubarak St) and see what’s there. Suddenly, I remembered a place called Haleeb Khana (Located near Alwataneya Complex *I think* near AlThuraya).
They were open at that time & actually they close at 00:00. So it was perfect to sit down, enjoy a hot milk before going back home & heading to bed. I loved the place’s decoration. Small & cozy, the old Kuwaiti essence is there, specially with the Darabeeeeeel <3
Let’s continue with our tour inside the exhibition of Dubai Air Show 2011. The hall was divided into 3 parts; main hall, west hall & the east hall. Each one of them was enormous. I loved the booths of every participant, the designs & decoration were amazing. I kinda learned some stuff, husband explained few things, & when I was on my own, i had to ask the people who are taking care of their booths. There was a huge helicopter in the middle of east hall i think; I asked the guy if I can get inside it & he gave me the green light :D It was fun! Took lots of pictures ;)
Who do you think should name the baby? The father or the mother?
For me it should be the mother who should name the baby . . . Poor Mama, she gets pregnant, suffers from the worst feeling ever, worst pain in life, mood swings, swollen feet & tummy and swollen everything in her actually :P Back pain, not being able to sleep right, not being able to eat right, to enjoy life as she used to, not being able to go out or having fun sometimes . . . and not to mention the BIG EVENT, when the little creature pops his head out … after all that suffering for 9 months, I think it’s her right to name the baby whether it’s a boy or girl.
I hate when fathers interfere in naming the baby, yes we know you’ll be paying for everything but come on, that doesn’t cost that much pain! Yes it hurts to cut a small amount from your account but after all it’s going for the sake of your kid. And the physical & mental pain that the mother went through CAN NOT be compared to your financial pain if you want to consider that as a pain a9lan.
I remember my husband interfering in the baby’s name when I was pregnant. I told him you name the boy & I name the girl . . . Do you know what he said?
“I have to approve on the name of the girl, she’s carrying my name after all & I don’t want to embarrass her with one of your modern names”
I went along with him & it took me a while to convince him. It’s a name from the Holy Quran & he has to approve on it! Anyways, too soon to talk about such things but I’m really hoping & praying for a kid. I feel a real heart ache when seeing a baby picture.
So, conclusion: Mothers should be naming their babies . .. Fathers move out :D

I was also invited to the private event of The Launch of Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry at 360 Mall in the exhibition area. It was very very crowded, so many people were invited for this private event i guess, I managed to snap some pictures, only stayed 15 minutes & then left. Couldn’t stand the crowd.
Miraculously, I attended the press conference of the launch of Ivanka Trump’s fine jewelry line in cooperation with Murad Yousef Behbehani Group. Thank you job :*
My husband is a huge fan of restaurants that serve open buffets! I don’t know what’s his deal with buffets but he loves them ALOT. I don’t mind them at all, & i like the variety of the food. He had an earlier trip to Dubai last October & saw this restaurant. He said we’ll go to it when we travel on November. I actually doubted his choice, thought it won’t be fancy somehow but the man has a good taste in food, that I know now :P
It’s located in Jumeira-The Walk inside a mall (where Wagamama is) on the 1st floor. The buffet per person is 140 Derhams. The restaurant also has a bar, music (Italians singing) & buffet stations. I loved the atmosphere, the food, the lovely staff & everything about it. We’re still talking about it & craving their cheese <3
My dear highschool friend Marawei got me this BEAUTIFUL Owl T-Shirt from the USA! The gurl knows how to make me smile :D I just love owls, I buy anything that has an owl on it or shaped as an owl!
It started as a tease by my family calling me “Saroo yal Owl” as in “Sarah yal boma” coz I hated to go out to gatherings or weddings! Basically, I hated big events & people :P so they used to call me like that but then I actually fell in love with this beautiful bird & started collecting stuff that has its picture on it! :D
