Luna Restaurant-Missoni Hotel Kuwait

Yesterday I was invited by the lovely Miss Nikki the manager of Luna restaurant to attend the pre opening and taste some of the dishes displayed on their menu. My husband & I arrived today where we’ve been greeted warmly by the receptionist and showed us to our table. Later on, Nikki came & greeted us. She gave us a background about the restaurant and she mentioned that it is a Mediterranean restaurant that has a variety of dishes & it does.

So we picked our dishes (check pix) and I went to take pictures of the place. The staff was very polite, sweet, super friendly & very efficient (hope it will stay the same *never ever change). The atmosphere of the place was very cozy and warm. The seats were comfy & the tables are very suitable for eating. The complimentary food’s quantity was more than enough.

Now, let me take in a tour inside the restaurant along with the dishes we’ve ordered, shall we ;)

seating area

another section

isn’t it elegant and fashionable?

privacy is available

the bar

part of the privacy, you can enjoy your email with your table area covered with a thread curtain

complimentary sweet penuts

complimentary potato chips

Romesco sauce, delicious

complimentary bread

seafood sauce: delicious and very light to start your meal with it.

mini bread topped with fish: Oh La La La

Caramelized Chicken Livers: *faint* I salut the chef for this dish. It was very very very soft & light, I couldn’t feel it going inside my tummy. In many restaurants, the chicken liver turns out to be a little bit chewy but oh no, not this dish.

Lamb Pies: It was very ordinary but the creamy cheesy topping was to die for.

Lobster Salad: very lovely yet very very spicy.

Lamb Angus fillet (or smth like that, forgot the name); was somehow good but a lil bit dry, extra sauce and it will be perfect.

Ramesco Prawn with rice: verrryyy delicious and the shrimp was huge (not tiny). Very heavy dish, suitable for two persons.

Hazelnut Lava Cake: delicious same as Choco Room

Pineapple & ginger smth with yoghurt ice cream: simply WOW . . . Heaven. aahhhh I want more of this dish.

playing with the lights . . . wear sunglasses coz it hurts the eyes :P

isn’t this cute? containing toothpicks :D

my Missoni notebook :D
